Clinique Star Tour 2011 : My Makeover Experience

ohai!!!

attended the Clinique Star Tour 2011 event at Multimedia University last 2 weeks.

The Clinique StarTour 2011 involves a custom built 3-tonne truck strategically designed to housecomfortably 8 makeup and hair stations with a mini-studio. when i arrived at campus, the truck was already transformed.

first stop was to filllin in the forms at the registration counter. we were shortly briefed on what we'll be expecting on the makeover later on.

and my form says "blogger"

this is the counter where they tested our skin and mildly cleanses our face.

after that off to the make-up booth!!! wheeee~~~

ok the make up was kinda light for my liking but its suitable for daily wear!

the make up artist was kind enough to guide me on how she put on the make-up for me. step by step. so patient. LOL

the cosmetic felt really comfortable on my face. its not like those normal foundation where you feel a layer on your skin. it doesn't get oily easilly too! best of all, the make up is lasting!! i went all over town and at the end of the day, the make-up still stays on! <3

lastly, a pic of me and christin who was on duty there :)

overall, it was a fun experience. i've learned alot about skin and cosmetics which i never knew before. i'll be sure to join again next year!!! till then :)

Last nite was really random. We were jz kidding on Facebook and suddenly the next thing I know, Algin was outside my house already picking me up to Charles and clement's house. It was freaking 3am lur!!!

Threaten to scratch Charles swift coz he wad pretending to be asleep and refuse to open the door for us!! Wtf.

After we manage to get him out of bed, off we go yamchar till the mamak closes then 2nd round at my place. The three of us had a good heart to heart talk. Love max <3 chit chat till freaking 8am then off to wake clement up and waited mun loong to finish his arabic class (wtf!!) for dim sum!

last month was my dearest and errr best(?) housemate Gan Zhong Yi's 21st birthday!! yay! he's legal for his height! LOL

the other day before i went back Melaka, damn flight got delay. from 2 something pm delay till 7pm!! FML! dad stayed back and chill with me at coffee bean. i love you daddy.
i got it all not-so-well planned. you see, was suppose to reach LCCT at most 3pm then catch the direct bus to melaka at 4.30pm. since my flight got delayed, i have to wait for the night bus. well, taking the night bus is ok with me but daddy dont trust night busses so no choice have to crash jane and jamie's place. all the flight dilemma and waiting, well it paid off as i had a great awesome cousinhood time with my cousins :)
Jamie and Jane came to pick me up and off to pyramid for dinner. manage to grab few clothes from cotton on. haha.

dinner at some mediteranean restaurant in pyramid. cant remember the name though. me and jane ordered the yogurt something and it tasted like errrr sour milk? eeeew... jamie smarter, she ordered lemonade. so all 3 of us were sipping on her drink :)
we tried to down big gulp of the yogurt but fail max! i tell you, alcohol tasted sooo much better than this and its way easier to swallow compared to this, what i called the ROTTEN MILK! LOL
the food, well nothing special and its super expensive too.

next day, me and jane head to Bangar for lunch. cant remember the restaurant name either but the food is yummy :) walk around the boutiques and went mango mania. after that jane and jamie sent me off to meet chee and she drove me back melaka :)

happy day :) cant wait to do this again. well should i thank the flight for the delay? :)

Im so crazy over this korean drama *orgasms*

im not usually korean or japanese drama fan. but but but i dunno why im so addicted to this!!
i've watch the whole drama over and over again. more than 10 times??? possible!!!

well this drama is about this girl, Go Mi Nyu who had to disguise as her twin brother Go Mi Nam to join this A.N.JELL band coz he brother was in the hospital and she couldn't bare to see her brother's dream crashed. So she was pretending to be Go Mi Nam till her brother get out of the hospital. unfortunately, 2 of the group members found out that she was a girl. 1 of them, Shin Woo overheard her conversation with her manager but he just kept quiet coz he wanted to see what would happen but eventually at the end, he fell in love with her. The other one that found out was Tae Kyeung (THE ONE I LOVEE), at first he wanted to exposed her but after listening to her reasons, he promised to keep quiet. he was giving her quite a hard time at the beginning but obviously, like every other korean dramas, the star, Tae Kyeung also fall for her. and the rest you go watch yourself!!!!! :) i wouldn't wanna spoil it for you rite? :)

celebrated at the River Bank Cafe, Melaka.
spent above i cant remember how much and they let us have our own personal room :)
love the environment there. sound system is good but the songs are not very good.

the performance and food all not so good but the company i had for the night is love love love :)

honestly, at first, i totally hesitate and refuse to attend prom coz i know it'll be like all the other proms, BORING! even till the last min, i stubbornly wanted to pay for my seat and skip the night untillll Miss HO WINGEE and SARAH persuade me to go :)

and i tell you, it was the best choice i've made :) no regrets!

its been a while since i hang out with my ex housemates and i forgotten how fun it is to be around them. well i guess, this prom made me grew closer to them and reminded me of how much i've missed them. :(

i even get to hang out with mabel and caryn even though they did not attend prom. we hung out and went last min shopping for prom :) miss them much much.
and of course my ex roommateS too, sarah and eejie :) the two best roommateS i've ever had!!

it has also been FOREVER since my phone being flooded with msgs and calls by wingee and luohan vivien :)
i get excited to see their msg every time coz i know they got many bullshits and funny things to say.LOL

have you ever felt that you were meant to do something more than what you are? feel like im trying to break out from this shell. its like im not meant to be what i am now but i cant seem to find my way out. i dont want to be stuck in this environment forever!! there's so many things that im not satisfied with surrounding me everyday, all the time, but i feel like i've lost my say, i've lost my stand, i've lost my right to even voice out anything. i dont like to be a minor!! im always trying to fit in but is this really what i want? or am i just too afraid to choose a different path? guess im just worried to ruin something so perfect?? or maybe i've tried too hard??

voices in my heart screams silently but who is there to listen? who can even hear it? over the years, i realized that i'm not the same person i was anymore. i used to loathe being alone, being left out but now oh gees, i would say "leave me alone?". why oh why have i turned like this? somehow, i miss the old me :(

i've always being judged off at the wrong foot but i say its ok? nooo... thats a lie!
i hate hate hate being judged. that must be the reason why i dont even dare to be myself anymore.
but is it fair to say i judge people too, no?

everytime i come back, i dont usually eat around sp when i hang out with my friends. its either autocity or penang. i dont even kno where to eat in sp. lol. since there's no one to fetch us to penang, we decide to try Bali-Bali at Lagenda Heights(i think).

the place is quite nice. food not bad.

there's no place to hang out in sp. duh.. so autocity is our official hang out place.
been eating alot at Tao. at first it was so so so yummy. especially the scallop!! its a must must try!!!
but now, im kinda bored with the food there d. going there so many times. haha.. i kno chee and lao mu must be super jealous!! :-p
the price is quite reasonable. RM50++ per person. eat all u can.
go try if you haven tried before.

its been a while since we last clubbed together. planned to go for holiday together but end up cant go anywhere coz everyone schedule is so pack. boo~~ so worst to worst, we jz end up in penang.. double boo~~

its always like that, each time we plan something, surely it wont happen wan. lol.
BUTTT last min plan always work. LOL. head to penang for 1 nite. as usual, ainsy binsy, the driver. check in to the hotel and we're all ready to party!! :D its eve lynn's first time clubbing..aaw... :)
it was a thursday nite and the last time we went on a thurs nite to penang, all the clubs were totally empty. wtf
so with fingers cross this time, they were err a few ppl in the club. lol.
surveyed the clubs around there, din kno which to decide but we finally end up at FAME coz they were playing lady gaga song at that time.wtf

anyway, going to FAME wasnt a bad choice. indeed it was a really good choice. we all had a super awesome nite there. :-)
let me tell u why. lol
we had free flaming lamborghini and free beers. :D
the dance floor was empty so dont hav to beware of perverts.
and we were having a super girly time.

Life

besides wtf crashing my car on 1st january 2009, life's great and as always there are ups an downs throughtout the year. forever trying to lose weight but it din work. middle of this year i had this crazyyyy tiny itsy bit habit of puking everything i eat. this habit went on for 2 to 3 months until there were side effect and it freak me out. so i stopped and here i am, double (errr.. triple) the size i used to be. FML. only few people knew bout my this habit so far. whatever is it, im super healthy now :P ( healthy = FAT! fml) i've also stop taking the all time well known ionamin and duromin pills coz it affects my sleep and i LOVE TO SLEEP!!! haha. what else? hmm.. its been quite a busy year for me. i've moved house. travelled alot and i mean really really alot to KL. been to redang, love it, got drunk there. wtf fml. :) had an awesome trip with housemates to thailand. attended a nuffnang party. celebrated my birthday 43545 times!! haha. love it! hmm.. life isn't that bad afterall!

Friendship ( more like nonsense! haha)

am trully blessed to have friends who care so much for me. i have friends who r crazy and wacky and most importantly, friends who stood by me, comforting me when i had my heart broken recently. they were always there to 'entertain' me and come out with all sort of nonsense which i love love so much ;) . and lately at home, i've been hanging out with my school friends and i realize, our friendship had came a long long way. friendship of more than 10 yearss?? woahhhh.. blink of an eye, we're all turning 21 soon ( some 20 only..ahem.. haha). whatever is it, i appreciate every single one of those sampats! =P

Love and Relationships

single for more than 7 months now. had 2 relationships this year and obviously both din work out. one ended around Feb and the other one ended beginning of June ( during redang holiday time la.. haha..the way those sampats found out that i broke up is si pek funny. LOL.. still remember? =P if im not mistaken i think its when alice and lao ma 'accidentally' read my msgs then they were like... "whatttt?? you broke up d? " hahahahaha ). ah.. i couldnt be bothered by those 2 relationships. wasn't really into them anyway.lol. throughout the whole year, i got my heart broken and mended and then broken again and dissappointed for who-knows-how-many-times ( obviously not by those 2 lousy ex-s la). been going on dates alot this year. some guys i dated were really really nice and some are wtf jackass. im picky when it comes to picking the rite guy andddd its funny and sad to admit that i FAIL to get the person i really like. FML rite? for the record, i dont usually FAIL and it really hurt me quite bad. anyway, im all ok now. learned to move on ( for the 342523 time!) and wayyy stronger now. :-) i'll just wait and let love come naturally :-) hmmm.. lol

oh and HELLO 2010!!!! lets hope we'll all have a great and crazy year ahead.
my new year resolutions areeee...... wtf.. too many.. mayb if im not lazy, i'll continue in next post..

last year's christmas was totally fun. even though i drove the wrong way all the way to Johor Bahru yet i enjoyed myself that night.

this year, things are different :-(

im stuck at home in SP but my heart is in Melaka.
can imagine that this year's Christmas party would be 4253432 times more fun.
its been almost a month since i go back to my 626B house and i miss everyone there alot.
i kno its silly to cry over this but i've been crying whole nite and whole day d :'(
hate it when im missing out all the fun
things are bad as it is, worst still, my SP friends are not around to celebrate with me. sobs
jane and jamie, are not here too. i miss you both so much.
i miss mabel and sarah too :(

every year i wish for fancy gifts but this year is totally different.
i have 1 wish and only 1 wish for this christmas.
wish that all this is just a nightmare and i would wake up tomorrow having all my friends by myside :-( to listen to their laughter and lame jokes. for them to scream "CB Cat". been a while since i heard that :'(

nothing is more valueble and important than to spent time with the people who meant everything to me.

been really sick since i came back from kl on monday. :(
first it was chicken bone stuck in my throat followed by fever, cough, soarthroat, etc etc....
all these and i still dont bother to go see the doctor untill.....

my face started growing these small tiny spots.
when it comes to my face, i know its time to go see the doctor.
wouldn't want anything to happen to my precious face do i?

the first doctor i went to was a super a-hole!
he dont even know whats wrong with me and simply give me random medication.wtf

today, i woke up, my face became worst!!!
rushed to pantai hospital melaka to see the skin specialist!
of all times and of all days, SHE'S ON LEAVE!!!!

went to the batu berendam skin doctor. not specialist, not consultant, jz a normal skin doctor.
she gave me a whole lot of pills to swallow and needles to inject myself. wtf..
now i feel really really sick :(

my whole bunch of medication. there's still 2 more bottles which are not in the picture.
imagine i hav to swallow all this EVERYDAY!!! :(

new needles for me inject myself :(

feel so lousy right now.
dont know what to do anymore.
cant even go out coz i look so horrible right now.
im so so sad

will my face be as smooth as before ???

i swear if my face ever gets better, i wont even complain whenever i get few pimples during period!!!
i'll be glad that its only a few and not hundreds and hundreds like now!

after a long week of staying home and rushing assignments,
FINALLY we're out having fun.
YAY!! :)

start the day going campus to pass my assignment to Jack.
then straight to town to eat the famous porridge at bunga raya. ate till so freaking full.
went Jusco, our so called fav shopping place to get groceries.
came back and took a nap.
8 somethin at nite, went GOGO KTV =)
singK till 12 then went for.....FINAL DESTINATION movie.

tell you, the movie is super sucky. the death dont even seem real at all.
so so so so freaking fake.
waste of money nia.
i think even Murderer is a better movie than this.
sighs.

out of no where, i dreamt that people around me all possess superheroes power.. haha hahaa hahaha

in the dream, the world was going to end coz Sylar was about to destroy it.
he suddenly appear in my room and i din kno wat to do.
so i was too scared that i kept sylar in my MOUTH.
yes.. in this mfucking mouth!!
no idea how i did that. LOL
then he turn into a 'pacat' or leech.
so i was like keeping him in my mouth all the time while waiting for the other heroes to come.
i sent and SOS message to all the heroes.
kononnya there's a speed dial on my phone that will magically automatically contact all the heroes.
then when everyone arrive outside my door, i cant explain to them wat happen coz if i open my mouth the leech (sylar) will escape
ran around the house like a mad person looking for pen and paper to tell all the heroes wat happen.
everyone just stared at me blurly thinking im some mad person who send out false alarm.
coincidently, the whole freaking house dont even hav a single pen and paper.

just when all the ppl were about to leave,

teck visited melaka that day. went for lunch at melakaraya. then went for movie 'the proposa' with sin yee foo and teck. was actually planning teck's birthday but the whole day just acted normal like nothin happen.
so after the movie, they all went out to celebrate lin song's birthday. i din tag along and i was busy preparing at home.

when they came back, told foo to ask teck come our house. so he came.
was in my room. din even kno that he came d. zzzz
no ppl tell me anythin.

anyway he was talking to foo in sin yee's room.

prepared everythin and all then told him to come down. took out the cake.. and tadahhhhh..
